Normal Type

5A

  • 10 frame startup and is slower than other character's 5A, so be cautious with it, and has reduced recovery (used to be 20 frames of recovery).

  • Great range, standard jab.

  • Can be used somewhat like an anti-air.

  • -11 on block.

  • Jump cancellable on hit/block.

5AA

  • Faster startup time (used to be 12 frame startup), and has reduced recovery (used to be 12 frames of recovery).

  • 0 on block.

  • Good pressure tool.

  • Also used to confirm off of air hits from the ground (depending how close to the ground the opponent is).

  • Burst safe move and jump cancellable on hit/block.

5AAA

  • Can now be canceled into sweep

  • Jump cancellable on hit.

Shadow Type

5AA

  • 12 frame startup.

  • -2 on block, relatively safe to be used in a blockstring.

  • Can confirm off of air hits from the ground.

  • Jump cancellable on hit/block.

5AAA

  • Provides meter gain.

  • Can get a soft knockdown on an air hit.

  • Can now be canceled into sweep.
